Privacy Policy

NeuroRewire is built so that we cannot see your data. This policy is short because there is almost nothing to disclose.

What we collect

Nothing. NeuroRewire has no accounts, no server, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party software that connects to the internet. The app never transmits your information anywhere.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter — your focuses, the “old tapes” you write down, your affirmations, journal entries, intensity ratings, streaks, and settings — is stored in a single file on your device only, protected by your device’s built-in encryption. We have no copy and no way to access it.

App lock

If you enable the app lock, authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, passcode, PIN, or pattern) is handled entirely by your device’s operating system. NeuroRewire never sees or stores your biometric data — the OS only tells the app “unlocked” or “not unlocked.”

Notifications

If you enable a daily reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device. No notification service of ours is involved, because we don’t have one.

Pause before social media

This feature is off unless you turn it on. If you do, you choose which apps should trigger the pause, and your device’s operating system handles that choice: NeuroRewire is given anonymous tokens that stand in for the apps you picked, never their names. Your selection is stored on your device and is never transmitted.

When the pause appears and you tap “Rewire first” or “Open anyway,” the app acts only on which button you pressed. It does not record which app it was, when, or how often — nothing about your app use is logged, counted, or sent anywhere, by us or to us. Turning the feature off removes the pause; your selection stays on your device in case you turn it back on, and deleting the app removes it along with everything else.

Export and backup

You can export your data as a file at any time. That file is yours: you choose where it goes (e.g., your own iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or local storage). Anything you do with an exported file is under your control and outside the app.

Tips (optional in-app purchases)

NeuroRewire offers optional tips as a way to support the app. Tips unlock nothing and are never required. Payment is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own terms and privacy policies — NeuroRewire never sees your payment details, name, or any personal information from a tip. The app only receives an anonymous confirmation that a purchase completed so it can say thank you.

Data deletion

Delete the app and your data is gone (along with any device backups governed by your OS settings). There is nothing to request from us, because we hold nothing.

Children

NeuroRewire is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone, including children.

This website

This website is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no scripts, and uses no analytics or trackers.

Changes

If a future version ever changes any of the above (for example, adding an optional sync feature), this policy will be updated first and the change will be clearly announced in the app before it takes effect.
